self confidence

Ella was getting ready for church this morning. She slipped her foot into her shoe and said "Don't my feet look beautiful in these shoes?"

When we got to church she got out of the car and said "I look wonderful today!"

Later when I was relating the story to my family my brother said something about me teaching Ella to be vain.

Nope.

How many adult women feel good about the way they look? Not very many.

How many teenagers would say they look wonderful today? Probably none.

So if my beautiful little four year old feels great about her looks today, I say, Hurray!

Hopefully some of that confidence will linger throughout her life.
