third grade

Here we go! Another year of school begins. We have had a busy and fun summer but I am ready for the routine that school will bring back to our lives. Matt wasn't very excited at all about starting until we went to Meet the Teacher night last night. I could see his excitement building as he stacked new notebooks and pencils into his own little desk. Then his eyes started to brighten and a grin began to creep on his face as he looked around his new classroom. His new teacher seems perfect for him and he seemed so grown up as he went and shook her hand and introduced himself.

This morning he was all smiles as he attempted to hug his sisters good bye and then posed for the traditional first day shot.It's going to be a great year. Hurray for third grade!
