picking up our new baby girl

Steve and I got to drive to OR to pick up our baby on Wednesday June 24th. We left Matt and Ella with Grandma and left early in the morning. We met at DHS first with our case worker and then drove over to the foster home where she has been for the past few months. We were so excited to meet her! We spent the afternoon learning all about her from her foster family and then we got to take her back to our hotel with us for few hours. Grace was so happy and sweet and content through all of this. What a wonderful little baby! We just loved being with her and holding her and watching her smile and connect with us. She even took a nap in my arms!
