scorpions

In Matt's first grade year we became experts on penguins. During second grade it was wolves. This year his animal of choice was the scorpion. After three years I am getting tired of animal habitats. I find it odd and annoying that he has had the same project for three years. Maybe I should inform the fourth grade teachers now that the kids have definitely gotten enough practice in making habitats.

At any rate, Matt did a terrific job this year learning all about the death stalker scorpion. An animal only a boy would pick. He did all research, I helped him create the habitat, and then he wrote up the report with just a little help from me with spelling and such.
