a trip to the pumpkin patch

 Another week, another field trip.  Ella's kindergarten class went to a pumpkin patch and this time both Grace and I got to tag along.  This was the perfect trip for 5 year olds.  They got to go on a hay ride, pick their own little pumpkin from the patch, hear a little lesson on farm life and then they were free to explore all the wonders of the pumpkin patch.  This one had lots: a giant sand box - but filled with corn instead, a hay maze, playground toys, a giant rocking chair, a giant trampoline, a cow barrel ride, animals to feed and pet, and the list goes on.  The kids had a blast.  Ella was very cute with all her new kindergarten friends and Grace was just happy to be there too. I am so blessed to have the chance to participate in these fun days in my kid's lives.
